Filtros>Desenfoque>Desenfoque Gausiano

The website of Dan Winters have a gallery with very nice portraits.

These people provide a package with GPL licensed scripts for the latest version of GIMP.

I couldn’t try it because I haven’t my linux laptop just now.

Engranaje 2008

I want to introduce you the Engranaje 2008, a meeting point for photographers (both professionals and amateurs) living in Granada.

I have a project that never was ended, so i will try to ended it this weekend just on time to present it on the Engranaje 2008. As soon as I will get it I will show you here.

2 of 10 portfolios

Second review to the portfolios’ selection of digital-photography-school. Now i have reviewed from the 21th to 30th best, and surprisingly i like 2 of them, which is a mayor proportion than i got in the twenty firsts.

In order of appearance in the ranking they are: Tim Flach Portfolio and Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir

From Tim i recommend the Equus Project, a complete study about horses, very nice shoots. I really like them.

From Rebekka i would remark the self portrait series. A little of digital retouching in some of them but it is very well ended.

Online PhotoShops

Each day I am more confident buying online, even most of the times is more comfortable than walking around the city looking for something from shop to shop. So today I bring you some links to online shops specialized on photography. Four of them are spanish and one is in english, wich most of you would already know.

2 of 20 portfolios

I have been looking at that selection of portfolios, actually I have visited just the 20 firsts. Between them I would recommend the works of Joey Lawrence and Martin Klimas. Between the rest you can find very good jobs but they have so much digital retouching or composition for me.

From the job of Joey Lawrence i remark the portraits. The Martin Klimas photos aren’t so nice, actually i didn’t like them at the first look. What i like of them is how the time is stoped.

What I post today is a link to a website with photoshop tutorials and links although i don’t use it a lot. My favourite OS is Ubuntu so the software I actually use is Ufraw and The Gimp, but that is another story I will tell you in other post.

Blogroll

Hi me, it seem no body else read these blog. Don’t mind. It’s not the objective.

I have added a Blogroll section, just at the right. Yes, just under the search engine. There I am posting links to other wordpress blogs about photography.

Xataca Foto

Today I have found XATACA FOTO, a blog about photography where several spanish authors write entries. The subjects are from tutorials (most of them about photoshop), reviews (both cameras as objectives, or software), links to photographers websites, courses, events, etc. I am subscribing to it by RSS.
